An uplifting song cycle based on the poetry of Robert Sund, Paulé Barton, and Theodore Roethke. The idea was to create a cycle that inspired the notion that life is worth living after all. The middle song, "Going Out to Meet the Moon Whales" was originally commissioned and performed as part of "The Northwest Show", premiered by Seattle's Intiman Theatre, in 1976.
